About DJIB-SOLIDEV

Ladies and Gentlemen, dear friends and partners of the DJIB-SOLIDEV Association,

It is with deep emotion and a high sense of duty that I address you today, in my capacity as President of the DJIB-SOLIDEV Association. Since its creation on January 12, 2019, our association has made the resolute choice to place solidarity, human dignity and sustainable development at the heart of its action. For seven years, carried by 65 committed members and supported by a broad network of national and international partners, it has been able to respond, in the field, to the most urgent needs of Djiboutian communities.

Our commitment rests on a simple conviction: no community should be left behind. Whether it is providing a food kit to a family during Ramadan, offering a blanket to a child on cold nights, training a young woman in digital tools, building a well that will change the life of an entire village, or inaugurating an electrified community zone — each of our actions is the expression of an active, traceable and respectful solidarity towards those we accompany.

Today, I address you with gratitude and confidence. Gratitude to our institutional partners, our faithful donors and our volunteers, without whom nothing would be possible. Confidence in the ability of our nation and our friends around the world to mobilize to build, together, a fairer and more united Djibouti. The path of development is demanding; it requires consistency, transparency and humility. We commit to it without reservation.

I therefore invite you, on behalf of our entire team and of every beneficiary your contributions touch, to join this dynamic of sharing and development. Whether you are a Djiboutian living abroad, a friend of our country, an institutional partner, or simply a citizen sensitive to humanitarian causes, your support — modest or substantial — is a strong act. At DJIB-SOLIDEV, every donation is traced, every kit is documented, every beneficiary is respected.
